- Some drafted names were removed for not meeting the requirements of their respective categories.
- Halestorm was placed under the Best Metal Act by mistake. Their votes will be counted under Best Rock/Alternative Act.
- Although Lacuna Coil qualifies for Best Metal Act, since their releases are parts of a 2025 release, we have decided to push their drafting until next year’s awards.
- We have decided to combine “Best Breakthrough Metal Act” and “Best Breakthrough Rock Act” into one category and create a new category called “Best Album Artwork”.
- All albums and EPs that were drafted into Best Albums and Best Release by a Breakthrough Act were automatically drafted into the new category
- The number of nominees for “Best Breakthrough Act” was increased.
