NEWS: The Callous Daoboys will perform at Tuska Festival 2026

Sep 16, 2025

Here we go – the Tuska Festival, to be held in Suvilahti, Helsinki, on June 26–28, 2026, has announced the first performers for next summer. Two headliners will be announced right away:

Bring Me The Horizon from Sheffield, England, rightfully claims one of the headliner spots at Tuska 2026. BMTH, which started out as a deathcore band in 2004, now leans more toward alternative metal with electronic and pop influences.

Bring Me The Horizon has carved out its own niche in modern metal and is one of the most influential and pioneering bands in its genre. The 2024 album “POST HUMAN: NeX GEn” took BMTH‘s already skyrocketing international popularity to even greater heights, and the band’s fan base continues to grow, one continent-shaking gig at a time.

Bring Me The Horizon‘s performance at Tuska last summer was a mind-blowing experience, and with the band currently at perhaps the peak of their career, it’s worth holding on to your metaphorical and literal hats!

You asked for it, and here it is: Bad Omens is one of the headliners at Tuska 2026. The band had to cancel their European tour last summer, including their eagerly awaited Tuska gig, so this has been a long time coming!

American metalcore sensation Bad Omens is definitely one of the hottest names in modern heavy music right now. Formed in 2015, the band mixes heavy expression, poignant melodies, and an uncompromisingly stylish, dark aesthetic. It’s a combination that appeals to many.

On their 2022 breakthrough album, “The Death of Peace of Mind”, Bad Omensintroduced a new kind of electronic depth and darkness, and the title track went viral on social media, resulting in an explosive growth in the band’s global fan base. Frontman Noah Sebastian’s multidimensional voice is the musical core of Bad Omens. The band’s art is simultaneously extremely visual, captivating, and stunningly personal.

Other Tuska 2026 performers announced so far include American metalcore band The Plot In You, experimental and psychedelic death metal band Blood Incantation, American prog metal pioneers Queensrÿche, Texas-based Kublai Khan TX from Texas, who draw on the metal hardcore tradition of the 90s and deliver an extremely heavy sound, Malevolence from England, who play traditional metalcore, Soilwork from Gothenburg, one of the pioneers of melodic death metal, Rivers of Nihil from the US, who play ultra-technical death metal, Ensiferum from Finland, who spice up their melodic death metal with folk metal influences, Bloodred Hourglass from Mikkeli, Finland, who are at the forefront of Finnish metal, Majestica from Sweden, the heralds of symphonic power metal, Melrose Avenue from Australia, the metalcore phenomenon, The Callous Daoboys from Atlanta, who serve up a genre-bending combination of mathcore, nu metal, and chaotic emo from Atlanta, and Danish band Neckbreakker, who carve out old-school death metal with a modern twist.

The artists’ performance dates will be announced later. More information about the program will be published later this year.

About the Author

Hi! My name is Benedetta, I’m 29 and I live in Northern Italy. My passion has always been music: I started taking guitar lessons when I was 6. Now I work as a sales representative, but in my free time I interview talented people, I spread the word about my favorite band (MoonSun), and I go to concerts or travel around Europe. I am a huge collector of anything Tolkien-related, autographs, merchandise, and CDs. I am quite an original person and don’t mind being the voice outside of the choir (even though I play in the church’s choir!).
