September 17 – Portland-based progressive metal band VINTERSEA have released their new single and music video “Become The Wave.” The track is the band’s first release of 2025 and highlights the energy and unique tones brought by new vocalist Kayla Dixon, leaving many fans excited for what’s next.

Sumo Cyco – “Boring” (single & music video)

September 17 – Toronto-based progressive metal band Sumo Cyco have released their new single “Boring” ahead of their fourth album NEON VOID, due October 24. The song echoes the fusion of punk and metal the band is known for, and comes with an official music video exploring themes of routine, self-empowerment, and pushing beyond comfort zones.

Edge of Paradise – “Falling Light” (single & music video)

September 22 – LA-based industrial rock and alternative metal band Edge of Paradise have released their new single and music video “Falling Light.” The track features the powerful vocals of Margaria Monet and intense, driving music. The song is taken from their album Prophecy, which was released last March.

Secret Rule – “In The Silence” (single & music video)

September 19 – Italian metal band Secret Rule have released their new single and music video “In The Silence.” The track features Angela Di Vincenzo’s euphonic vocals alongside a surprise rap section from bassist Sofia Basili, continuing the band’s tradition of being progressive, unexpected, and exciting. “In The Silence” follows three previous singles from their upcoming album X, due October 24.
