Alternative artist Anne Bennett, hailing from Salem, Massachusetts, has premiered the highly anticipated music video for her single, “Closing the Dark”: a project made possible thanks to the support of her fans.
The song, which was originally released last October 16, had already garnered excellent reviews from the specialized press, further increasing the excitement for its visual accompaniment.
The single and music video feature a team of highly-regarded collaborators from the alternative and gothic music scenes, cementing “Closing the Dark” as a key project:

• Drums by: The acclaimed Jeff Friedl (Devo, The Beta Machine).
• Video: Filmed by @fishingdarkness (@salemmasabendix) in the artist’s hometown, Salem, Massachusetts.
Anne has shared that “Closing the Dark” is a dark rock track that addresses the suffocating weight of anxiety and the catastrophic thoughts that often consume us. The artist, originally from the historic “Witch City,” channels Salem’s melancholic atmosphere to weave her characteristic sound.
