Night spreads its wings once again over Beyond The Black. The German symphonic metal band has unveiled their new single “Ravens”, a haunting piece that marks one of the most intense and vulnerable moments of their new chapter, leading up to the release of Break The Silence on January 9th, 2026.
“Ravens” rises like a lament and a spell: vocals drifting through shadows, guitars burning with restrained fire, and an atmosphere suspended between fragility and storm. Jennifer Haben delivers one of her most aching performances to date, as if every word were a feather torn straight from the heart. The song explores the fractures that appear when silence becomes heavier than any scream, and how the echoes of the unspoken can chase us like an endless flight of dark wings.
The music video (partly filmed at Wacken Open Air with their fans) adds a ritualistic dimension to the track. Smoke, silhouettes, and bodies moving as one creature in the dim light. Beyond The Black thanked their “flock of Ravens,” the band’s loyal community, who became part of the video’s pulse and presence.
This release follows the path set by their recent singles: “The Art of Being Alone” (featuring Lord of the Lost) and “Can You Hear Me” (with Asami of Lovebites). Together, these tracks reveal the band’s intention to expand their sonic universe into darker, more introspective, and multicultural territories, without losing the melodic essence that has always defined them.
Break The Silence promises to be one of the band’s most personal albums.
The ravens have only just begun their flight.
“Ravens” is now available on all digital platforms, spreading its wings for anyone ready to listen from that place where darkness begins and transforms into sound.
