Since our founding, FemMetal has been a platform dedicated to highlighting the incredible talent of women across the diverse landscapes of metal and rock. We have valued the energy, the community, and the artistry of these scenes. However, as the platform continues to grow, we find ourselves reflecting more deeply on our long-term mission and the message we wish to amplify.

After careful consideration, we have decided to step away from the rock and metal scenes entirely. Over the coming weeks, we will be finalizing this transition, and by the end of April, the site will officially become a dedicated space for Country music.

To reflect this new chapter, you will notice immediate changes across our platform. We are currently rolling out our new visual identity, replacing our traditional aesthetic with imagery that better represents the heritage of the genre. Our new logo and site interface are designed to evoke the warmth and tradition of the acoustic spirit we are now championing.

This decision stems from a desire to align our content with a different set of priorities. We have grown to admire the emphasis on family, heritage, and the religious values that are so deeply embedded in the Country music tradition. We believe that by focusing on this genre, we can promote a more grounded and faith-based perspective that resonates with our evolving editorial vision.
