Elena Siegman Releases New Single “The Source” via Dollbreath Records

by | Jun 28, 2026

Metal vocalist and songwriter Elena Siegman has released a new single and accompanying music video titled “The Source.” The track was released on June 26 via her own independent imprint, Dollbreath Records. Mixed by Pete Adams, known for his work with Kendrick Lamar and the Call of Duty franchise, the new release channels Siegman’s signature blend of soaring vocal melodies and heavy, emotionally intense instrumentation.

Thematically, “The Source” explores concepts of emotional depletion and the consequences of unequal relationships across personal, professional, and systemic dynamics. The narrative focuses on the radical acceptance of a relationship reaching its inevitable end once the balance of care is permanently broken. To capture this visually, the accompanying music video features Siegman performing inside a blue-lit glass box, interspersed with appearances from a recurring horned figure to symbolize themes of oblivion and reclaimed power.

Based in Los Angeles, Siegman is widely recognized for her vocal contributions to the Call of Duty Zombies franchise, performing fan-favorite tracks like “Beauty of Annihilation” and the gold-certified anthem “115.” Having also worked as a game developer across franchises like Guitar Hero, BioShock, and Destiny, her solo material continues to bridge the gap between gaming culture and alternative metal. Following her 2011 debut EP, The Mighty, and a recent return to the Call of Duty franchise in 2025, “The Source” serves as the beginning of a new phase of independent releases under her Dollbreath banner.

Being a feminist has been normalized as an irregularity through our patriarchal society, so I'd rather be called a "decent human" than a "feminist man". I breathe Metal and Rock and have a screwed-up sense of humour.
