Detroit rock quintet Eva Under Fire released their highly anticipated sophomore album, VILLAINOUS, via Better Noise Music on July 10. The new record follows their 2022 debut and marks a major step forward for the group. To celebrate the album launch, the band also premiered a brand new music video for the defiant battle anthem “My Own Name.”
Fronted by vocalist, songwriter, and licensed therapist Amanda Lyberg, the band blends deep emotional insight with heavy instrumentation and massive melodic hooks. The new album showcases this signature sound, channeling personal struggles and triumphs into powerful anthems of survival. The project has already found significant success on active rock radio, with the title track featuring guest vocals from Maria Brink of In This Moment currently sitting in the Top 10.
To support the release of VILLAINOUS, Eva Under Fire is preparing to hit the road for an extensive run of live performances. Later this month, the band will embark on a massive stadium and arena tour, serving as a supporting act for the Five Finger Death Punch twentieth anniversary world tour. The monumental trek is scheduled to run continuously through October, bringing their new material to audiences across the country.
