Norwegian heavy metal band Triosphere has released a new single and official music video for “Shorelines”. The track serves as the fourth and final preview of the group’s highly anticipated upcoming studio album, Oceans Above, Stars Below, which is scheduled to be released later this summer on August 28 via Frontiers Music Srl.
Musically, the new track introduces a lighter atmosphere compared to the heavier material on the rest of the record. Originally carrying a working title that described it as a happy song, the new release leans into a feel good rock style that adds dynamic variation to the album. The accompanying music video visually matches this upbeat energy, combining a casual performance by Triosphere with live concert footage and behind the scenes clips from the creation of their previous music videos for “Of Tyrants” and “Oceans Above, Stars Below”.
To ensure the highest audio quality for Oceans Above, Stars Below, the band collaborated with renowned engineer Alexander Backlund at Fascination Street Studios to record drums and vocals before handing mixing duties to Jens Bogren. Featuring visually striking artwork by Giannis Nakos, the new record perfectly captures the signature blend of hard rock, progressive power metal, and thrash elements that Triosphere has cultivated since their 2006 debut. “Shorelines” is currently available to stream across all major digital platforms.
