Sydney alternative rock band PENI PARKER has officially released a deeply personal new single titled “god save the nurse.” The track arrived across all major digital streaming platforms on July 24 and serves as an aggressive dedication to healthcare workers. Inspired by the experiences of the vocalist growing up around her mother who worked as an emergency nurse, the song captures the blinding rage of watching medical professionals continue to help others while those in power remain completely apathetic.

Musically, the addition of guitarist Brooklyn Wilson has pushed the project into heavier sonic territory, driving the new composition forward with harsher drums and unconventional song structures. Operating out of Australia, the band continues to forge epic rock anthems from a fusion of political fury and anime inspiration.
