Rising alternative rock artist Bailey Spinn released a powerful new single titled “start again” on August 28. Produced by Scott Stevens, the track marks a deliberate step away from the pop-punk foundation of her earlier material, fully embracing heavier sonic territory. Driven by snarling guitar riffs and thundering rhythmic energy, the melodic metal anthem showcases an aggressive new vocal direction for the artist. Thematically, “start again” captures the complicated emotional realization that a relationship has reached the brink of failure, channeling feelings of betrayal, loneliness, and the difficult process of finally letting go.

The new single directly follows a string of heavier releases including “voodoo” and “homicide,” continuing the momentum built by her debut album loser which arrived in March 2025. This autumn, Bailey Spinn will bring her newly evolved sound to stages across the United States as she joins Scene Queen and WARGASM for the extensive Metalicious Tour. The massive trek officially begins on September 15 at The Masquerade in Atlanta and will hit major markets including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York before concluding in Orlando on October 25.
