As many know, the nominees for FemMetal Awards are chosen by a committee of journalists, musicians, photographers, and other influencers. However, in the Write-In Award, voters can write the name of an act or musician they believe deserves an award for their activity in the year before, that has been missed by the committee.
This year, most of the write-in votes went to the Dutch band Delain.
The Symphonic Metal band released their new album “Dark Water” in February 2023. This album is the first with their new vocalist, Diana Leah.
