The nu-metal era returns, much to the delight of many fans, with the powerful sound of a new band formed by the radiant vocalist of the recently disbanded melodic death metal group The Agonist, Vicky Psarakis, also known as “Killer V.” Alongside her is co-vocalist Robby J Fonts, aka “Robb the Ripper,” drummer Joe Polizzi, bassist Rich Regier, and guitarist Philipp Lykostratis. Together, they bring explosive energy, aided by their producer Joey Do Herty, who has worked with renowned bands like Falling in Reverse and I Prevail. Their sound takes great influence from iconic bands such as Evanescence and Linkin Park.

The band is set to make their debut with a new album, Cross Me Twice. The album delves into themes like emotional manipulation and explores the destruction of the good by the bad, a common occurrence in relationships of any kind—whether due to ego or misunderstandings. Some of the singles already available for listeners include “Kings Today,” “Fools Tomorrow,” “Make Believe,” and “Feed Them to the Wolves.” Cross Me Twice will officially be released on February 14, 2025, via Earache Records.

And don’t forget—the very next day, Saturday, February 15th, you all have an appointment with Sicksense at 3:00 PM CET at Valley Signature Real Estate, NW Grand Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, United States.
