Metal fans who voted in FemMetal Awards 2024 have named Gisèle Pelicot as the Woman of the Year

This newly inducted category invites voters to choose a woman who they believe had the most influence on society in the last year. FemMetal voters picked Gisèle Pelicot, who became a feminist symbol when she brought worldwide media attention to her case against her rapists, fighting a war, not only for herself, but for all victims of sexual abuse.

Italian journalist and Infinity Heavy press agent Monica Atzei announced the result.
