Enemy Inside has built an impressive career in just a few years. Looking back, what has been the most defining moment for the band so far?

Nastassja Giulia

Everything we’ve experienced so far has been incredibly exciting, but playing at major festivals like Wacken, M’era Luna, Hills of Rock, and Rockharz has definitely been a highlight for us. These big stages and amazing crowds always leave a lasting impression. However, the biggest highlight is yet to come—our very first European headlining tour in February and March, which we’re incredibly excited about.

Your upcoming album “Venom” is just around the corner! What can fans expect from this release in terms of sound and themes?

Nastassja Giulia

Fans can expect something for everyone on Venom. While we’ve kept our signature sound—the blend of heavy guitars with melodic, catchy tunes—this album pushes boundaries. It’s a bit heavier overall, but at the same time, it has some poppier elements too. We believe there’s something in there for every listener.

Lucy

Your previous albums Phoenix and Seven were both well-received. How does Venom compare to them? Does it feel like a continuation or a whole new chapter?

Nastassja Giulia

Venom definitely feels like a whole new chapter for us. The sound has evolved quite a bit from our first two albums—it’s much more modern and definitely heavier. There are a lot more screams, and I showcase much more of my vocal range. You’ll hear everything from rap parts to screams to whistle notes. It’s a fresh, bold direction for us.

Lucy

If someone was discovering Enemy Inside for the first time, which song from Venom would you recommend they listen to first?

Nastassja Giulia

That’s a tough one! It really depends on personal preference—whether you lean more towards heavier sounds, something poppier, or more rock-oriented tracks. But if I had to recommend a few, I’d say Should Have Known Better, Don’t Call Me Angel, and Sayonara are great starting points. Those are some of my personal favorites as well.

After wandering through many corners of this planet on tour, which live experience has left the deepest mark on you?

Nastassja Giulia

That’s hard to say because every experience has been unique and special. But I think our first headlining tour in Spain back in 2019 was a particularly memorable one. It was our first tour abroad, and actually our first headlining tour ever. The audience was incredibly warm and welcoming. We weren’t sure what to expect—honestly, we thought not many people would show up since it was our first time playing there—but the venues were packed, and the energy was just amazing. It was an unforgettable experience.

Can you tell us more about your upcoming European headlining tour?

Nastassja Giulia

We’re thrilled to announce that our European headlining tour will kick off on February 20, 2025, and run through March. We’ll be performing in countries including Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Finland, and the Netherlands. We can’t wait to share our new music with fans across these countries.

If you could distill the emotion of Venom into a potion, what would it be?

Nastassja Giulia

If Venom were a potion, it would embody empowerment. The entire album and its songs are infused with themes of strength, resilience, and becoming untouchable.

Lucy

If you had to listen to one of your songs on repeat forever, which would it be?

Nastassja Giulia

That’s a tough one, as I’m someone who can’t listen to songs on repeat endlessly, even my own. But if I had to choose, it would be Should Have Known Better because it brings good vibes and isn’t melancholic.

Are there any artists you’d love to collaborate with in the future?

Nastassja Giulia

A dream duet for me would be Noah Sebastian from Bad Omens—I just love his voice—or Jonny Craig as well. The list is long; there are so many talented artists I’d love to work with.
