Gözde Düzer, the mastermind and leader of the band Aux Animaux, born in Istanbul and based in Stockholm, released her new single “Thrill Kill” on May 16, in which we can clearly see her unconditional love for the horror genre, which seems to be made for her.
As we already know, her songs are characterised by exploring a variety of dark and emotional themes, fusing influences of horror cinema, psychological introspection, and spirituality.
Her style is distinguished by a disturbing atmosphere and an aesthetic that refers to the Gothic aesthetic and horror cinema of the 1970s and 1980s.
Her aesthetic appearance through the use of heavy and elaborate makeup, her dress with grid stockings, leather, and her messy blonde hair make it her seal of identity.
“Thrill Kill” is told through the eyes of the predator, who, with each repetition of the rhythm, increases his obsession and desire to end his victim.
Her voice, distant and at the same time deeply intimate, acts as a guide in a descent towards the ruins of the soul. Every word seems to spring from a hidden place, in the greatest darkness.
The song was mastered by Doruk Öztürkcan of She Past Away and written, mixed, and produced by Aux Animaux.
Aux Animaux creates an auditory experience that fuses the macabre with the emotional, inviting listeners to explore the shadows of the human psyche through her music and visual aesthetics.
