Vlad in Tears release “The Monster Inside” and announce new dates for their intense European tour
The Italian-German band Vlad in Tears continues to unveil previews of their upcoming album Hide Inside, with the release of their new single “The Monster Inside”, available since June 26th on all digital platforms. The track, which opens the album, delivers a powerful blend of emotional intensity, darkness, and raw energy—hallmarks of the band’s distinctive sound.
In this new song, the band reflects on the idea that we all have a monster inside us—a side we often try to suppress, but which is undeniably part of who we are. Through this message, Vlad in Tears dives deep into themes of inner conflict, self-acceptance, and emotional duality, recurring elements in their artistic universe.
Besides being highly active in the studio, Vlad in Tears are also enjoying a vibrant live season. In June, they performed two special shows on board the Metal Queen Metal Cruise 2025, sharing the stage with Doro. Fans can relive the experience through a series of exclusive video blogs available on the band’s official YouTube channel, featuring live footage, backstage moments, and personal insights from the cruise.
The band’s tour continues over the coming months with several key festival and support dates:
• Stella Nomine Festival – from July 4–6, 2025, in Mainz, Germany, one of the most prominent events in the dark and metal scene.
• September 4, 2025 – supporting Waltari in a special concert featuring PVRS as special guest.
• Feast of the Darkness Festival – September 5, 2025
Vlad in Tears’ new album, Hide Inside, will be officially released on August 1, 2025, via Metalville Records. It will be available in digipak CD, colored vinyl, and digital format. Early signs suggest this will be the band’s most personal, powerful, and mature work to date, blending their signature dark rock with industrial elements, introspective lyrics, and strong visual storytelling.
With three singles already out, a busy tour schedule, and a growing connection with their fanbase through exclusive content, Vlad in Tears firmly solidifies their status as one of the most relevant and committed bands in today’s European gothic and alternative rock scene.
Additionally, the band’s vocalist Christian Miconi has recently been announced as a special guest alongside the band Mystopera for the Wacken Open Air festival, one of the most important metal events on the international scene.
