Darkness will once again descend upon Madrid and Barcelona after Christmas with the arrival of Ductape, the Turkish post-punk and darkwave duo that has become an essential reference in the European alternative scene. They will be joined by Newborn Ghost, an emerging band that is drawing attention with its hypnotic and melancholic sound — the perfect prelude to a night devoted to the darker hearts of the underground.
Formed in Istanbul in 2019 by Çağla and Furkan Güleray, Ductape blend the intensity of post-punk with synthetic atmospheres steeped in melancholy. Their lyrics, written in both English and Turkish, navigate between introspection and disillusionment, while sharp guitars and electronic layers revive the spirit of the eighties with contemporary force. With albums like Labirent, Ruh and Echo Drama, the duo has toured extensively across Europe and earned a place among the most intriguing names of the scene.
Newborn Ghost will open the nights with their blend of shoegaze and spectral post-punk, where ethereal vocals and immersive guitars create an introspective atmosphere. Their minimalist yet powerful sound fits perfectly with the aura that defines Ductape, promising an intense, magnetic live experience.

Both bands will join forces for two highly anticipated shows: on Friday, December 26th, 2025, in Madrid at Cadavra Club (C/ Caballero de Gracia 10), and on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, in Barcelona at Sala Vol (Carrer de Sancho de Ávila 78). Doors open at 8:00 PM, and tickets are already available via Tickety.es.
A perfect opportunity to bid farewell to the year surrounded by shadows, synthesizers, and guitars.
