A roundup of the latest releases by bands led by women in rock and metal.
Without Warning – “Harbingers Of Decay” (single and music video)
November 13 – Finnish industrial metal band Without Warning have released their new single “Harbingers of Decay”. Driven by Micha’s crushing low vocals, the track shows the band at their most intense so far, blending harsh industrial power with a sound clearly made to ignite live crowds. A music video accompanies the release.
Bailey Spinn – “critical”
November 14 – Los Angeles rock artist Bailey Spinn has released her new single “critical.” Produced and co-written with Erik Ron, the track explores darker, heavier tones, delving into themes of self-destruction, isolation, and the struggle to pull oneself back from the edge. The single follows her earlier 2025 release “fear of going out” and marks another step in Bailey’s evolving rock sound.
Friendship Commanders – “DEAD & DISCARDED GIRLS” (single and music video)
November 14 – Nashville heavy melodic duo Friendship Commanders have released a new video for their track “DEAD & DISCARDED GIRLS,” the closing song from their album BEAR. Directed by the band’s Jerry Roe, the video complements the haunting song, which reflects on empathy and the human tendency to relate only to certain suffering. The album BEAR was released on October 10 via Magnetic Eye Records.
Ancient Settlers – “Autumnus (Revisited)” (EP)
November 28 – Ancient Settlers will release their digital EP “Autumnus (Revisited)” via Scarlet Records. The EP is the first release to feature new vocalists Nia Creak and Noelia Fernández Jiménez and revisits the band’s 2021 debut EP with reworked arrangements and updated sonic textures. Combining melodic death metal intensity with emotional depth, the five-track EP offers refreshed versions of key songs alongside dramatic instrumental intro and outro pieces.
