The renowned Arizonan vocalist of Catalyst Crime and former Cradle of Filth member, Zoë Marie Federoff, has announced an exciting collaboration with the Finnish Melodic Death Metal band, Suotana.
Suotana, originally from Northern Finland, recently released their new album, “Ounas II”. For this project, they feature the powerful vocals of Zoë Marie Federoff on the track “1473 Ounas”.
Federoff, known for her work as the current vocalist for Catalyst Crime and for having served as keyboardist and backing vocalist for the legendary British band Cradle of Filth, shared the news via her social media, expressing her enthusiasm for the project:
“I was asked this year to contribute vocals to the latest record by SuotanaOfficial, a terrific Finnish melodeath band that has all the sonic elements I love about the genre, and some very epic lyrical content. Check out Ounas II and the track 1473 Ounas! Thanks for having me!”
The band Suotana is recognized for fusing Melodic Death Metal with elements of Black Metal, creating an epic and distinctive sound.
This ten-minute-long collaboration, is an incredible addition to the Melodic Death Metal landscape, uniting Federoff’s incredible vocal talent with the epic and cold atmosphere of Suotana’s Finnish sound.
This crossover between international talents underscores that both Zoë Marie Federoff’s career and the rise of Suotana are more alive and stronger than ever.
