Madrid-based synthpop band Challenger continues to establish itself as one of the leading names in Spain’s electronic and synthwave scene, and 2026 is shaping up to be a year of major releases and collaborations.

Among their highlights is the reinterpretation of the classic “Born Slippy”, created alongside Mixina and Ratsel. Released on January 22, 2026, this single blends Challenger’s synth-pop style with modern electronic rhythms, offering a fresh, retro-futuristic take on Underworld’s iconic track. The release is accompanied by a vibrant music video and is available on platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and more.

But that’s not all: Challenger has also collaborated with producer Karim Shaker on “Beautiful Life”, a track that features the band’s distinctive touch in versions like the Challenger Remix and Challenger Cut, adding their signature synthesizers and electronic sounds.
