Doodswens Releases Drum and Vocal Playthrough Video for ‘Driven By Death’

by | May 2, 2026

Dutch black metal band Doodswens has released a drum and vocal playthrough video for the track “Driven By Death.” The song is featured on the group’s recently released self-titled album, which arrived on April 17 via Svart Records. The video offers a rare look at drummer and vocalist I. performing an intense, single-take rendition of the track.

Forged in 2017, Doodswens translates to “Deathwish,” a name reflecting themes of confronting darkness and returning with renewed strength. The band features I. performing both drums and lead vocals simultaneously, joined by R. on bass and P. on guitar. Recommended for fans of Darkthrone, early Mayhem, and Wiegedood, the trio is known for their raw, ceremonial, and uncompromising approach to black metal.

After rising through the Dutch underground and touring internationally with acts like Marduk and Gorgoroth, the band continues to build their reputation as a formidable live act. Doodswens is currently available to stream and purchase, with the new playthrough video providing a glimpse into the raw physical energy of their stage performances.
