Sydney-based dark rock and metal band Wicked Envy has released a new single titled “False Face.” The track tackles themes of political corruption and human rights abuses, delivering its message through aggressive vocals, heavy drum patterns, and thrash metal elements that combine an old-school heavy metal sound with modern production.

The Australian group blends theatrical dark rock with heavy metal instrumentation. Wicked Envy has steadily built their presence following the release of their debut EP, What The Hell Am I Doing, alongside recent singles like “Hyde” and “Final Descent.” They have also established a live resume by sharing stages with regional acts such as Future Static, The Last Martyr, and Sienna Skies.
