Tuska has revealed the first eight artists for the 2027 edition. The festival will once again take place in Suvilahti, Helsinki, on July 2–4, 2027.
One of next summer’s headliners will be American deathcore powerhouse Lorna Shore. Founded in New Jersey in 2009, the band has seen a meteoric rise in recent years. Their fourth studio album “Pain Remains” (2022), also the first to feature vocalist Will Ramos, propelled the band to new heights. Extensive touring following the album, and ultimately the release of “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” in 2025, cemented Lorna Shore’s status not only as a leading name in extreme metal, but also as a force recognized by a broader audience. The band last performed in Finland in February with sold-out shows at Helsinki Ice Hall and Logomo in Turku.
The second headliner for Tuska 2027 will be Finland’s own scythe-wielding metal force Children Of Bodom, who have returned to the stage. Honoring the musical legacy of guitarist legend and founding member Alexi Laiho, who tragically passed away in 2020, the band has enlisted guitarist-vocalist Samy Elbanna, who is a close friend of Laiho and the band. Elbanna’s exceptional guitar work pays tribute to Laiho’s legacy as one of the greatest metal guitarists of all time. Tuska is proud to welcome Children Of Bodom to its stage in summer 2027.
Other artists announced so far for Tuska 2027 include German extreme metal act Heaven Shall Burn, fellow Germans Kanonenfieber with their blackened death metal, American hardcore and hip hop blenders Fox Lake, Portuguese atmospheric black metal group Gaerea, modern metalcore outfit Avralize from Germany, and American act Sinizter, who combine aggressive hip hop with extreme metal.
