Australian gothic metal band Victoria K has released a new single titled “Take It All.” The track officially arrived on June 26, serving as the latest preview of the group’s upcoming third studio album, The Pleasure of Sorrow, directly following the earlier release of the record’s lead single, “Oh So Weary.”
Thematically, the new song explores concepts of memory, loss, and the slow process of healing. The narrative focuses on the experience of having a piece of one’s identity or youth taken away unexpectedly, capturing the emotional aftermath and uncertainty that follows such a profound loss. Musically, the track builds upon the band’s foundation with a melancholic, atmospheric approach driven by layered vocal melodies and a recurring central guitar riff.
Operating out of Australia, the group continues to evolve their core sound by blending traditional gothic metal with modern metalcore intensity and electronic textures. While a specific release date for The Pleasure of Sorrow remains unannounced, the forthcoming record is designed to further showcase this transition into a darker, more contemporary sonic space. “Take It All” is currently available to stream across all major digital platforms.
