Folk progressive artist Dikajee has released a brand new single and accompanying music video titled “Gunpowder.” The track serves as the first preview from her highly anticipated upcoming album, The Frame, which is officially scheduled to arrive later this autumn on November 6. The new release features prominent guest appearances from musicians Varijashree Venugopal of Snarky Puppy and Jonathan Noyce of Jethro Tull.

Mastermind and vocalist Olga Karpova conceptually developed the new video to tell a story about overcoming the physical limits of the human body and mind. Visually exploring themes of rebirth and humanity, the piece portrays a cinematic narrative where the blind will see and the ghost will finally have a face again. Musically, the new track continues to showcase the exceptional range and refined technique of the artist, seamlessly blending classical operatic styles with folk and heavy progressive elements.

Following her critically acclaimed 2021 record Forget Me Nots, Dikajee relocated to the United Kingdom in 2023 to rebuild her live band with a fresh lineup. Funded entirely through a successful fan campaign, her second full length album The Frame expands upon her distinctive blend of progressive rock and neoclassical music. The upcoming release features an expansive international roster of guest musicians, highlighting her fearless musical vision as she prepares for the November launch.
