The Italian band formed by Claudia Barsi ( Lead Vocals), Giorgio Pinna ( Drums), Fabio Puddu ( Guitars / Vocals) and Manuel Dettori (Bass) enters a new era with a powerful blend of Modern Metalcore, electronic elements and synth retrowave atmospheres. “Cage”, the fourth single from the album, leads the release as the centerpiece of this new chapter.

Souls of Diotima release “Arcade”, their fifth studio album, through Diotima Records. The new record marks a major evolution in the band’s sound, leaving behind their power metal roots to explore a more experimental and contemporary territory where Modern Metalcore meets electronic elements and 80s-inspired synth retrowave.

Following the singles “Run Away”, “Revenge” and “Senza Rancore”, the band presents “Cage” as the fourth single and focus track of the album. The song explores the feeling of being trapped inside an inner cage and the need to break free from whatever keeps us imprisoned.

One of the track’s defining elements is the intense vocal dualism between Fabio Puddu’s aggressive screams and Claudia Barsi’s powerful melodic vocals, combined with downtuned riffs, crushing breakdowns and modern production.

The concept of “Arcade” is built around a striking contrast: the neon lights, vintage gaming and nostalgia of classic arcades set against dark, introspective and visceral lyrics.
