Swiss progressive metal band Stereophrenics have released a lyric video for “State of Paradox”, the first single from their upcoming debut album, Paracosm 2.0, due out this fall via Greensunlight Productions.

The track combines heavy riffs, dynamic shifts, and atmospheric keyboard passages. Vocalist Elisa Colacioppo explores the perspective of a conscious mind trapped inside an unresponsive body, detailing the gradual loss of movement, speech, and physical control. This theme of physical paralysis extends into a broader reflection on the psychological, social, and self imposed cages that individuals eventually accept as their reality.

Following two independently released EPs, Paracosm 2.0 serves as the Geneva group’s first full length album. The current lineup, featuring Colacioppo alongside bassist Thijs Kos, guitarist Giovanni Tramparulo, keyboardist Nicola Giandomenico, and drummer Valentin Boada, explores altered states of consciousness, imaginary worlds, and the unstable boundary between perception and reality. The record was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Serge Moratel at REC Studio in Geneva.
