The Belgian EBM and coldwave duo, consisting of Sam Huge and Gaëlle Souflet, ULTRA SUNN continue their meteoric rise in the international electronic scene with the release last Friday 20th, of their new single “WRONG FLOOR.” Following the global impact of US (2024) and their intense tour across Europe and America, Sam and Gaëlle reignite their synthesizers with a track that aims directly at the dancefloor and the mind.
“WRONG FLOOR” not only heralds a new sonic phase but also an emotional one: the song is inspired by Sam’s mother’s battle with addiction, presenting a powerful, dark, and redemptive tribute.
This new track will be part of their upcoming studio album, titled The Beast In You, set to be released on October 3, 2025. The album will explore new textures, opening doors to darker, bolder, and more romantic territories. Vampiric, combative, and emotional, the album promises to be a firm step forward in the artistic evolution of a project that never stops evolving.
Each song on the album will be accompanied by an illustration created by artist Moe.loko, who is also responsible for the artwork of this first single. Meanwhile, the official album cover — a photograph by Kris Parenti — shows the duo wearing armor, symbolizing the protective, powerful, and mythical character they wanted to imprint on the visual concept of The Beast In You.
And for the most eager fans: The Beast In You is already available for pre-order in both digital and physical formats via the Artoffact Records label.
