Next Tuesday, the Prague-based band STELLVRIS will be releasing their fourth single in four months. The Metal band released “Avatar”, followed by “Burnout”, then “Scorpio” last month, and will be releasing “Who´s the Target Now” on the 4th of July. All four singles came with a music video.

The latest single “Scorpio” was a perfect song to sum up STELLVRIS’s musical identity as a band. The energetic riff and beats with Nicol switching between clean vocals and harsh vocals and even harsher vocals have been a common denominator for almost every song by STELLVRIS. “Scorpio”, however, took that electrifying awesomeness and multiplied it by a thousand! The song is three minutes of pure energy that even my conservative grandmother would headbang to (going to test this theory next family dinner). It’s a song that would be perfect when performed live!

Of course, the song was released with a music video that matches the quality of the audio with visual Metal brilliance.

“Scorpio” is my favourite song by STELLVRIS so far. Will “Who´s the Target Now” change my mind? It won’t be long until we find out.

You can turn notifications on for “Who’s the Target Now” on YouTube to check out the upcoming single as soon as it premieres.

Being a feminist has been normalized as an irregularity through our patriarchal society, so I'd rather be called a "decent human" than a "feminist man". I breathe Metal and Rock and have a screwed-up sense of humour.
