Japanese all-female steampunk metal band FATE GEAR is heading overseas once again, following the global success of their latest music videos and anime feature. Known for their fusion of heavy metal with steampunk themes, the band is set to embark on a new international tour, adding more countries to a journey that has already included four European runs, a Canadian debut, and numerous shows across Asia.

Founded in 2015 by guitarist Mina—previously a founding member of Destrose, a pioneering force in Japan’s female-fronted metal movement—FATE GEAR has grown into a dynamic act with a distinctive aesthetic. The lineup features drummer Haruka, bassist Erika, and Nana, a frontwoman whose vocal style ranges from clean singing to death growls.

FATE GEAR’s international recognition grew significantly after their song “Megabullets” was featured in the Netflix anime Kengan Ashura. Their official video for “The Sky Pirates” has now passed 1 million views, while “Live in Blood” has surpassed 500,000 views, reflecting a surge in overseas interest.

Details of the upcoming tour dates and locations are expected soon, with the band promising new shows across Europe and North America. Their live performances, which combine narrative-driven visuals with explosive musicianship, are set to expand their already growing fanbase outside Japan.
