Georgia-based gothic alternative metal band The End of Melancholy has officially released a new single and accompanying music video titled “Halo.” The track is currently available across all major digital streaming platforms and serves as an important milestone for the independent group as they actively prepare for the arrival of their next full-length studio album.

Produced by Andrew Petroff, who handled all instrumentation, mixing, and mastering, the new track is driven by the haunting vocal delivery and lyrical work of frontwoman Olly Lex. Thematically, “Halo” operates as a deeply personal statement of resilience and renewal. It marks only their second official release since the band was forced to relocate from Russia, with the entire creative process for the song and its accompanying music video taking approximately one year to complete.

Operating independently, the duo continues to build upon an extensive international resume. Over the years, the band has performed extensively across Europe, notably securing major support slots alongside prominent acts such as Theatres des Vampires and Hanzel und Gretyl. They also gained significant momentum when Chris Motionless personally selected them to open for Motionless in White in St. Petersburg, alongside earning public praise from Chris The Lord Harms of Lord of the Lost. “Halo” stands as a powerful return for the group following their acclaimed 2021 album, Nature Unleashed, and their 2023 single “No Karma”.
