News & Review | Onion Mash Releases Live EP and 2026 UK Tour

by | May 4, 2026

Rock band Onion Mash have released a new EP, Raw Recorded Live at The Spinning Top, alongside a UK tour scheduled for May and June 2026.

The EP was recorded live late last year at The Spinning Top in Stockport while the band was touring with Motörhead tribute act ‘Loser.’ Mixed by lead guitarist Toki Ward, the release was recorded in a single take with no overdubs.

The tracklist features previous singles “One Minute More” and “Killdozer,” as well as a new song, “I Wanna Live.” The EP also marks the recording debut of the band’s new rhythm guitarist, Paulo Sousa.

On this release, the band sounds like an embodiment of the spirit of rock and roll with the passion they show. It is enjoyable to hear the live versions of “One Minute More” and “Killdozer,” which I loved in their studio versions, performed with such raw passion. The band continues to show promising potential as they did before with their singles.

The accompanying ‘Bangers and Mash’ Tour begins May 7 in Cardiff. Support acts for the May dates include Ingenue, Kalamity, and Picnic. In June, Onion Mash will perform as a supporting act for Chrysalid and Deity and Devilry.

Tour Dates:

  • May 07, 2026: Fuel Rock Club, Cardiff (Support: Ingenue, Kalamity)
  • May 08, 2026: The Ramp, Horwich, Bolton (Support: Ingenue, Kalamity)
  • May 09, 2026: The Grafton Arms, Manchester (Support: Ingenue, Picnic)
  • June 05, 2026: The Alma Inn, Bolton (Supporting Chrysalid)
  • June 07, 2026: The Devonshire Arms, London (Supporting Deity and Devilry)

Being a feminist has been normalized as an irregularity through our patriarchal society, so I'd rather be called a "decent human" than a "feminist man". I breathe Metal and Rock and have a screwed-up sense of humour.
