Nova Spei Release Third Album “Trinitas” Featuring New Vocalist Emmanuelle Desbiens-Dubois

by | Nov 6, 2026

Canadian modern metal band Nova Spei have released their third studio album, Trinitas, on November 6, 2026, through Bam & Co. Heavy. The 13-track record follows their 2021 album Sequentis and introduces new lead vocalist Emmanuelle Desbiens-Dubois, marking a new chapter for the Quebec band following significant lineup changes. Combining modern metal, metalcore, industrial rock, and progressive influences, Trinitas takes a more aggressive and groove-oriented direction while maintaining the band’s established sound.

The album explores personal and social themes including addiction, betrayal, depression, trauma, Indigenous experiences, and resilience. “Renaissance” addresses the band’s struggles and return with a renewed lineup, while “Déraciné” focuses on Indigenous experiences and “Enterré Vivant” brings a heavier, groove-driven sound. Other tracks include the instrumental “Résonance,” which deals with loss, and “Draps Blancs,” which examines the fragility of life through a tragic medical incident. The record was produced and mixed by Francis Perron (Voivod, Martyr) and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Yes), making it the band’s first album recorded in a professional studio.

To support Trinitas, Nova Spei are embarking on an album release tour across Quebec, beginning in their hometown of Trois-Rivières before visiting La Baie, Quebec City, and Montreal. Unless We Fight will join the band for all four shows, with additional support from Insurrection, Matante Mutante, Unpunished, Burning Attic, Carry The Cross, and Castor on selected dates. The album is available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl.
