Hi Kristina, thank you so much for sitting down with me!
Thank you for interviewing me! It’s a pleasure!
To start off I just want to say congratulations on joining the band! How has stepping into the lead singer role of Cobra Spell been?
Thanks a lot! Stepping into the band has been amazing. Being able to play with them and defend the songs live, it’s been a pleasure for me. I followed Sonia for a long time before I knew the existence of Cobra Spell and for me, it is a privilege to share band with her. I’m so excited for what the future holds.
I can’t wait to see what you guys create together; I think you are the perfect choice for the band! Over the past few months Cobra Spell has been touring around Europe, what has that been like?
It’s been fantastic. Going on tour is a thing that every musician loves and desires. Having the opportunity to travel and play in such different venues and countries, it’s been something that pumped me up and kept me more motivated. I feel very welcomed in the band, this means the world to me.

That’s so great to hear! How has working with Sonia Anubis and Angelina Vehera been? Have you started writing new music together?
Working with Sonia and Angelina for me, it’s been so easy. I don’t know how but since the first moments I felt super welcomed and supported. They made me feel at home, making me part of the team so quickly. It’s an honor to work with these amazing ladies.
That’s a great feeling! A band should be a family and it seems as though you ladies have created that environment. Have you started writing new music together?
We are going to work on new songs. In fact, we are already working on it! Stay tuned if you want to know how Cobra Spell sounds with my voice.
Exciting! I can’t wait to hear the new material. What new and exciting elements do you feel you bring to the band?
I think that my voice is very versatile, and it can be used to make Cobra Spell shine even more. I have this raspy/clean vocals (that I love so much) and it can be a new color to add to the sound of the band. And, for what we heard from the crowd at the concerts/venues, they like so much the staging. We developed a coordination and magic (because I like to call it magic) that makes the crowd get kind of mesmerized and it’s so cool.

I definitely think you bring a new fire to the band! When did you realize that singing is what you wanted to pursue?
I started to sing in my very early ages. I think at 3 or 4 years old; I was singing all the time. The first time that I jumped into a stage, I was 13 years old. That day, I thought: I WANT TO DO THIS all the time!!! And I’m still working to go in that direction. It’s been a long journey and I can’t stop making music. I LOVE IT! Furthermore, I like many genres and making a lot of different types of music.
I think exploring different genres will help you grow as an artist! All genres have something interesting about them for sure. Who are your top 3 influences?
(I cannot choose three I’m sorry hahaha) Talking about bands in general, I love Leprous, Opeth, Tool, Gojira, Slipknot… I love all Metal genres as I said but talking about bands/singers referring to Cobra Spell style, I would say Rainbow, Journey, Wasp, Dokken, Cinderella, Freddie Mercury, Rob Halford, Dio, Bruce Dickinson and of course Doro Pesch.
Those are all great choices! All super talented performers. What drew you to rock/metal music?
At the age of 8 I discovered Rammstein. That day everything changed. My father use to play vinyls at home, from AC/DC, Queen, KISS, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Lene Lovich… Maybe is his fault hahaha!
My dad introduced me to rock music too, so I relate to that haha. What would your dream tour lineup look like?
Opening for Alice Cooper, Queen & Adam Lambert, or Judas Priest for example, would be a dream came true.

Those would all be amazing opportunities! All legendary acts. Staying on the topic of concerts, if you can go back in time to see any show/festival. Who would you go see and why?
I would love to see any concert or festival with Freddie’s Queen playing and Dio, of course. They are legends!
Both would’ve been incredible to see live. To close this interview off, do you have anything else to add?
Just I invite you to Follow Cobra Spell socials to stay tuned for everything to come and me too if you want to know more about who I am, about my other projects and what I do with music in general. Thanks a lot. Rock it!!
